Chapter I · The Principle

Fifty Years Of Leather. Not One Shortcut.

For fifty years, Anaïs cut leather in Paris for the houses whose names you know. She learned what makes a bag hold its shape for a decade: the weight of a panel, the angle of a stitch, the edge nobody sees.

She also learned what it costs: the hides that arrived by the pallet, the tanning baths, the offcuts swept into bins at the end of every day. In 2019, at seventy-one, she stopped. Not the craft — the leather.

Her grandfather kept a small vineyard in the Loire Valley he called la Vignelle, and a saying he repeated over the skins and stems by the press. She carries it into every bag.

Nothing on a vineyard is waste, only things you haven't found a use for yet.

At seventy-eight, Anaïs is retiring. For seven years Vignelle has been made in small runs to the standard she kept for half a century, without the animal. When her atelier closes, Vignelle closes with it.

She would rather see the last pieces carried than left in boxes. So everything that remains is released once, at 80% off, and a second piece unlocks an extra discount at checkout.

There is no restock and no second collection. When a piece is gone, it is gone.

Why is everything 80% off?

Anaïs Vignelle is retiring, and when her atelier closes, Vignelle closes with it. Rather than leave the last pieces in boxes, she is releasing everything that remains at 80% off — once. There is no restock and no second collection: when a style sells out, it is gone for good.

How does the volume discount work?

Every price already reflects 80% off. Add a second piece and an extra 20% comes off at checkout; three pieces unlock 25%, and four or more unlock 30%. It is applied automatically, no code needed.

Can I mix different bags?

Yes. Every piece counts towards the extra discount: different bags, sizes, colours and charms.

How long does shipping take?

UK orders ship within 1–3 business days and arrive in 5–8 days via express courier. International delivery times vary by destination and are calculated at checkout.

What is your return policy?

We offer a 30-day return window from the day your order is delivered. Items must be unused, with tags attached, and in their original packaging.
